Distinguish Between a Good and a Bad Realtor

Posted on February 14, 2018December 28, 2023 by Jain Estates Oncor International

When responsible operations with real estate people turn to a realtor. To which? To whom the friend advises? Or someone will offer a well-known real estate agency?

Looking for a realtor

The method of word of mouth is not always appropriate. As in any other profession, a realtor also has a specialization. One perfectly sells apartments, another – ace in rent. It would be superfluous to ask friends who advised you exactly this person, in what specifically he helped. Maybe he just attended the deal and checked the contract of sale, and you have a difficult multi-pass task.

Today a good real estate agents in Gurgaon necessarily has a page in social networks (at least in capitals and large cities), and this is justified. With the help of social networks, a competent specialist can prove himself: many, for example, are blogging or recording videos in which they talk about the real estate market, thus demonstrating their competence.

This can be argued that even without social networks a specialist can work fine. There is no point in arguing – indeed, one can do without social networks. But the presence of a person on the Internet still shows an openness and that he is guided by trends: this is necessary, because the world is changing, and the real estate sphere is changing along with it. Now no one is selling housing only with the help of newspaper ads, so the Internet, in any case, has entered our life.

The search for a professional through industry associations is also not a panacea and does not guarantee at least some result. In addition, their own specialists are trying to promote and various real estate bases, but their ratings are formed not by the quality of work, but by the activity of the brokers themselves.

Correctly: to use social networks (because they are visible to people), collect and read reviews and any other information about the potential agent.

Bad realtor

When buying an apartment, cooperation with a “bad” property dealers in Noida can result in a minimum loss of prepayment. Maximum – and lose money, and do not buy an apartment. At sale there is a chance to “sell”, not having received money. If the client is illiterate, and, without thinking, fulfills all the requests of a dubious realtor, chances are great to remain with nothing. The apartment is not a sausage, which only can be poisoned and spoil yourself a couple of days. The loss of a single apartment can be the loss of everything.

It is important that the realtor is always available for conversation, not hiding, and know how to behave decently – these absolutely predictable moments are a guarantee that you will find a common language. If he refuses to answer any questions, gets confused or responds briefly and aggressively, this is an alarming signal.

It is important that he could tell about his experience. The more years, the better for the development of professionalism. True, there may also be questions: a person can somehow stretch 10 years in agents, spending a couple of transactions a year. This is not an experience! Ask for feedback – normal realtors collect recommendations from their customers. Recommendations should be different in style! You can run into deception in this case.
