Connaught Place

Connaught Place, built in 1931, is one of the largest financial, commercial and business centers in Delhi. Connaught Place has a very long history behind it and named after the Duke of Connaught, It is abbreviated as CP and now is officially known as Rajeev Chowk after late Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The state emporia buildings are also located in this area so are the head offices of major banks, airlines and other such things of importance to the tourist.
